On Tuesday, 20 June, European School Ljubljana hosted the Slovenian comic strips artist and illustrator David Krančan and the Slovenian writer Žiga Gombač as part of the Slovenian Book Journey project. The project, which is organised by the Slovenian book agency, aims to encourage reading among children.

The project was organised for the Slovenian and English sections, Grade 3 and 4. The lecture was held in English. The pupils were given an interesting and energetic presentation about all the people and steps involved in publishing a book.

Both David and Žiga, with their positive energy and funny comments delighted everyone present – students and teachers alike.
