Celebration of International Mathematics Day

On 14 March, nursery and primary school pupils celebrated International Mathematics Day with enthusiasm. Throughout the day, we explored the ubiquity of mathematics in our lives and reflected on the diverse range of individuals who rely on mathematical concepts every day. We came to the conclusion that mathematics is an essential tool for everyone.

In addition, a group of pupils participated in a Pi recital at Prule Primary School. Two pupils were representing ESLj school through reading mathematical challenging questions. Three other pupils took an active part in the recital. Their performances were commendable and one student even won a silver medal with reciting more than 500 numbers!
