The second day of the international meeting was active and lively. In the morning, the students first looked at the examples of nature rotation that they had been learning about in class. Then, they went on to learn to circle dance and had a lot of fun doing it.

After snack, primary and secondary students presented how their school had a Zero Food Waste Day. They learnt important facts about food waste and presented tips on how to reduce food waste and packaging. This was followed by a tour of sunny Ljubljana, which was presented with great skill by our secondary students.

After lunch, they created pots with national symbols out of waste materials in an art workshop, showing their artistic skills. The recycled pots will be used to plant bee-friendly seeds in the Botanical Garden. In the late afternoon, our hosts and guests, together with their parents, went on a boat trip on the Ljubljanica River and climbed Ljubljana Castle.

Tomorrow, full of positive impressions and new expectations, we will have another unforgettable day.
