ESLj nursery section has recently visited the National Gallery in Ljubljana. After a hundred years of sleep Gal, the elf, found his home here and his treasure chest provided the children with plenty of clues for an interesting exploration of the Gallery. Even though Gal slept through our visit, the children spent a lovely morning listening to legends, learning about ancient traditions, and looking at various works of art. We ended the meeting with an art workshop where the children tried their hand at being art masters themselves.
