World Children's Day

On Monday 20 November 2023, we celebrated World Children's Day. This year's theme is dedicated to the rights of a child, so throughout last week we have been learning about the Convention on the Rights of the Child and exploring in which situations and settings children's rights are respected and when they are violated. We also made blue bracelets to represent our solidarity with all the children who deserve love, happiness and protection.

As some of children's right to quality food and a clean environment is violated due to living in difficult conditions, we decided to help them.

We organised and implemented the "Run for children's rights"! ESLJ students collected donations for each run through the Truhoma platform, which will be used in a 100% transparent way to buy life-saving material goods for the families of Anna's Star. You can follow every step of the donation process - from payment to delivery - on the Project Donation Tracker here: https://truhoma.org/sl-SI/tracker/simpleledger:qzglnltesw2mjqmqf37s7uppz40vrgt04gl85zx4ul

Thank you to all the students for their motivation and dedication, and to all the parents for their donations!
