Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, our primary students spent some of the day celebrating pollinators and local flora. After a fascinating presentation from a local beekeeper, students created planters using recycled materials and replanted the seedlings that sprouted in the Erasmus diversity garden planters.

Keep an eye on the playground fence—once the weather warms up, our planters will be moved outside, and our playground will be adorned with oxeye daisies, poppies, and other brilliant wildflowers. Hopefully, our efforts will pay off, and our garden will provide plenty of nourishment for our local pollinators.
