Plečnik's Ljubljana walking tour

As part of Mobility Week, P5 students and teachers went on a learning walk around Ljubljana. Acting as guides, the pupils used a city map to lead us to important Plečnik masterpieces. They presented many interesting facts about the Križanke Complex, the Monument to Napoleon and Illyria, the National and University Library, the Cobblers’ Bridge, the Triple Bridge, the Plečnik’s Market, the Peglezen and the Trnovo Bridge. We finished our journey at Plečnik's house, where the famous architect lived for 36 years. Although we learned that Plečnik was not very hospitable, we enjoyed a guided tour of his house and its beautiful garden.
