Rube Goldberg machines and Cell models

CELL MODELS

S4E and S4S students created 3D cell models in creative ways to reinforce their learning about different organelles found in cells, as well as their function. Beware of the Corona virus and Salmonella cells sitting on the reception desk at Tržaška cesta.

RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINES

S3E and S3S Integrated Science students created machines in the style of the famous cartoonist Rube Goldberg. The machines were to reflect Physics knowledge they had learnt, which included; types of simple machines, energy types and energy transformations. The machines had to perform a simple task in a convoluted way. We watched all the videos the students created and then both classes voted for their favourites in order. There were many spectacular videos to choose from, so our task was not easy.
Our winners were:

3rd place Nuša Levec with Nerfir

2nd place Yixuan Yang with the Cat Bringer Machine

1st place Carlota Kiriakidis Bernal with The Halloween Breakfast Machine
