S1–S3 Outdoor Adventure in Osilnica

From Monday, 5 May, students from S1 to S3, accompanied by four teachers, embarked on a three-day adventure to the picturesque municipality of Osilnica. The excitement was already evident on the coach journey and stayed with us throughout the trip.

Upon arrival, we settled into Hotel Kovač in the village of Sela. After a delicious lunch, we set off on a walk to explore the local area. Despite the rain, we visited a fish farm and listened to captivating stories about life in Osilnica. In the evening, our guide gave an engaging presentation on the town’s history, and we ended the day with some enjoyable social games.

The second day was packed with outdoor activities. Pupils explored the Čabranka and Kolpa rivers, tried fishing, learned about medicinal plants, and went on a scenic cycling trip. After dinner, some watched a football match, while others relaxed with board games.

On the final day, we started with climbing and archery—two definite highlights. After one last tasty lunch, it was time to say goodbye to Osilnica and head home.

We returned with wonderful memories of three days filled with outdoor learning, laughter, new experiences, and lasting friendships.
