This September, the Portorož Cup sailing regatta took place in Portorož and also served as the Slovenian National Championship for the 420 class.

The sailors faced challenging and varied weather conditions, from morning rain to bright sunshine. The strong bora wind made for a real test of sailing ability, with wind speeds ranging from 13 to 20 knots and gusts of up to 23 knots.

Among the competitors were our pupil Zoja Ribarič and her sailing partner Michele, who achieved an outstanding result through determination, perseverance and excellent sailing.

Zoja and Michele were crowned Slovenian U17 National Champions in the 420 class!
