In January and February 2023, students from the primary and secondary sections took part in the We Like Writing by Hand project with their mentors Klavdija and Svetlana. This year's competition topic was Prekmurje. 

The primary section made stamps and haikus. The pupils learnt about Prekmurje's musicians, flora, fauna and cuisine. 

Secondary students were inspired by the Mura, gibanica, dance, the local dialect, mills, storks. Many beautiful haikus were created in different languages. 

Special thanks also goes to the participating teachers Simona, Elizabeth, Nina, Katja, Agnes, Kathleen and Alex. 

Both primary and secondary students entered the competition and we are still waiting for the results.
