At the European School Ljubljana, we conducted a very successful ‘food drive’ for charity as part of our World Food Day celebrations. The entire school community of students, families and teachers generously got behind it, donating an enormous amount of food to Zveza prijateljev mladine Ljubljana Moste-Polje (The Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste-Polje). More than two van loads were needed to transport everything!Student awareness about homelessness and poverty was raised and everyone was proud to have made such a positive, selfless contribution to those in need.
