Year 5 students from the Slovene and English sections enjoyed a memorable five day trip to Ptuj in the far north east of Slovenia. Staying at CŠOD Strk, students engaged in a wide variety of activities that allowed them to learn not just about the surroundings but also about themselves and each other. Activities included a Kurent workshop, rock climbing, archery, calligraphy, swimming and a music themed tour of Ptuj Castle. Free time was thoroughly enjoyed as students mixed between playing sports, climbing trees, reading books or trying new board games. It was a special experience for all the students and they came back to school happy but exhausted from an action-packed week.
