The Success of Our Student, Kolja Gombač



We are delighted to share that our student Kolja Gombač has achieved another remarkable success! His comic–graphic story Knife, which had already received an award in the Živel strip – Živela animacija 2025 (Stripburger) competition, has now won first prize at the art contest Colours of Pain, Lines of Hope, organised annually by the Slovenian Medical Students’ Association as part of the project In Reflection (V odsevu).

Kolja’s story is inspired by real events from the past year. The complete comic will be on display as part of an exhibition at the Oton Župančič Library in Ljubljana.

We sincerely congratulate Kolja on his achievement and look forward to seeing his work!
