On Tuesday, 19 October 2021, P4+P5S and P4E students visited the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO). There, they were shown various weather monitoring devices by Mr Filip Štucina. The students found out that making a weather forecast is a very challenging task. What they found most interesting was the weather balloon, which is released once a day more than 20 kilometres from the ground to measure temperature, air pressure, humidity, and wind speed. Many thanks to Mr Vuga who made this unique experience possible and to Mr Štucina for his excellent guidance of the international group of children around the delicate meteorological devices.
