Visit to an International Conference and Study Trip to Paris for S6 and S7 Students

From 4 to 7 March, S6 and S7 students attended the international Elemasyn conference in Paris, where they successfully presented a poster entitled “1924–2024: A Century Between Two Olympic Gold Medals in Paris – Leon Štukelj and Janja Garnbret”.

They also visited the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Paris, where Her Excellency Ambassador Renata Cvelbar Bek introduced them to the field of diplomacy and explained the key role of the Slovenian Embassy in Paris.

In addition, students explored the rich history of Paris. They visited the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, climbed the Eiffel Tower, and toured the Louvre, where they admired the Mona Lisa and many other works of art housed in this world-famous museum. They also walked past iconic Parisian squares such as Place des Vosges and Place de la Bastille, and strolled along the famous Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe. The group also saw the Moulin Rouge and explored this renowned district.

Further highlights included a visit to the Poincaré Mathematics Museum, a climb up Montmartre, and a tour of the unique Sacré-Cœur Basilica.

Students also caught a glimpse of Paris Fashion Week, which delights audiences each year with its distinctive and creative designs. In every sense, they experienced Paris to the fullest.
